There are few more versatile choirs than The Manchester Chorale. We normally sing with between 35 and 55 singers but can expand to between 60 and 85 when the occasion demands, or slim down for a venue that cannot accommodate, or does not need, the full choir.

Our reputation for reliability and musicianship means that we have been involved in many large-scale performances over the years, with professional orchestras and internationally renowned soloists. We welcome enquiries from promoters needing a quality chorus for a major undertaking.

We have also provided many evenings of entertainment in smaller venues. A typical programme includes music in a wide variety of styles – from Bach to the Beatles, from Tallis to Tavener – and normally features some of the choir's excellent soloists.

Are you seeking to raise funds for a charity or community project?
If so, this is an excellent and enjoyable way of doing so. We need to charge a fee to help cover our own rehearsal, music and musicians' costs, but if you can sell as few as 100 seats at £5 each, then there is a tidy profit to be had. If you can involve a local sponsor (e.g. to cover our fee), then all the better.

The Manchester Chorale uses only its own purchased music or legally photocopied music.
